Commencement Participation & Ticket Dates

See below for important dates and deadlines related to the Fall 2026 commencement RSVP and ticketing process. For more information, contact the Registrar office at diploma@kennesaw.edu.

Please Note: Only students who RSVP to attend the December 2026 Commencement Ceremonies by Monday, September 28, 2026, will be eligible to participate in the commencement ceremonies. Students who submit their application to graduate for the December 2026 commencement ceremonies before August 31, 2026, will receive an email to complete the Commencement Participation Agreement and to RSVP via the "Commencement Attendance" platform to attend the ceremonies by the required deadlines.  Students are responsible for checking their 糖心国产传媒 student email for information regarding commencement, commencement participation agreement, Tassel, and ticketing information. Students must be on track to complete degree requirements by the end of Drop/Add in addition to completion of the acknowledgement to be eligible for participation.

  • If you intend to graduate in Fall 2026, you must by August 31, 2026, to be eligible to participate in Commencement. Participation includes walking across the stage at the in your cap and gown to receive your personal recognition.

    If you apply to graduate after this date, you will not be eligible to participate in Commencement. Only students who apply to graduate by this deadline will receive an email from decisions@kennesaw.edu with instructions to complete the Commencement Participation Acknowledgement, which is also required to participate.

  • If you applied to graduate by August 31, 2026, and would like to celebrate your graduation with us by participating in your college鈥檚 commencement ceremony, you must complete the Commencement Participation Acknowledgment by September 1, 2026.

    If you do not complete the acknowledgment by this deadline, you will not be eligible to participate in Commencement. Only students who complete the acknowledgment by this deadline will receive an email from
    diploma@diploma.kennesaw.edu on Sept. 8, 2026, when Tassel, the commencement reservation portal, is open to begin accepting reservations. This email will contain instructions on how to RSVP 鈥淵es鈥� for Commencement, which is also required to participate.

  • If you completed the Commencement Participation Acknowledgment by September 1, 2026, you will receive an email from diploma@kennesaw.edu on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, with instructions on how to RSVP 鈥淵es鈥� for Commencement by the Monday, September 28, 2026, deadline.

    Selecting 鈥淵es鈥� will allow you to reserve up to four (4) guest tickets. Additional guest tickets for your college鈥檚 commencement ceremony may become available for purchase at a later date. If so, you will receive an email from diploma@kennesaw.edu with more details.

    If you do not RSVP by this deadline, you will not be eligible to participate in Commencement.

    Doctoral candidates will not receive these emails and must coordinate with the Graduate College regarding their attendance and guest tickets instead.

  • Each college鈥檚 designated commencement ceremony date and time will be posted to the Commencement Ceremonies webpage by October 5, 2026.
  • October 28, 2026, is the deadline to for delivery to your home address via USPS by December 11, 2026. After this deadline, you may also order through the 糖心国产传媒 Bookstore for in-store pickup. Official 糖心国产传媒 regalia is required for all graduates participating in Commencement. Graduates who do not wear official 糖心国产传媒 regalia will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.

  • Your complimentary guest tickets will be available to view in your 糖心国产传媒 Ticket Portal. All students have an existing 糖心国产传媒 Ticket Portal account. Therefore, please do not create a new one. To access it, sign in using your 糖心国产传媒 email address.

    Ticket Transfers: Beginning December 1, you will be able to transfer your tickets to your guest(s). 

  • Beginning at 10 a.m., two (2) additional guest tickets will be available for all students participating in Commencement to purchase for $10 each through the 糖心国产传媒 Ticket Portal. These tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

    Ticket Transfers: Beginning December 1, you will be able to transfer your tickets to your guest(s). 

  • On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, you will receive an email from diploma@kennesaw.edu prompting you to log into Tassel, the commencement reservation portal, to review your assigned ceremony date and time. You may also submit the phonetic spelling of your name, so it will be pronounced correctly during the ceremony. This step is not required to participate in Commencement. The deadline to submit the phonetic spelling of your name is Tuesday, November 17, 2026.

  • Beginning at 10 a.m., and depending on availability for each ceremony, a select quantity of additional guest tickets may be available for each student participating in Commencement to purchase for $10 each through the 糖心国产传媒 Ticket Portal. These tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. 

    If additional tickets are available for your ceremony, you will be notified of the quantity by 糖心国产传媒 email on November 18.

    Ticket Transfers: Beginning December 1, you will be able to transfer your tickets to your guest(s). 

  • Beginning at 10 a.m., you may transfer your tickets to your guest(s) by following these steps:

    1. Log in to your student 糖心国产传媒 Ticket Portal account on your phone
    2. Select the three horizontal bars (鈮�) in the top left corner of the screen 
    3. Select 鈥淢y Tickets鈥� > 鈥淭ransfer鈥�
    4. Select the tickets you want to transfer
    5. Enter the intended guest's email address or phone number
    6. Confirm the transfer

    Then, ensure your guests follow these steps to download their ticket(s) to the mobile wallet on their phone:

    1. Check your email or texts for a message about accepting the ticket transfer
    2. Create and/or log in to your 糖心国产传媒 Ticket Portal account
    3. Select the three horizontal bars (鈮�) in the top left-hand corner of the screen
    4. Go to 鈥淢y Tickets鈥� > 鈥淢y Upcoming Events鈥�
    5. Select the commencement ceremony listed under "My Upcoming Events"
    6. Follow the prompt to add the ticket(s) to your phone鈥檚 mobile wallet

    Please note: Tickets must be downloaded to each guest鈥檚 mobile wallet on their phone. Screenshots of tickets will not be accepted

Commencement Attendance Portal: Tassel

Tassel is the system used to manage commencement operations, including graduate RSVPs, graduate communications, and grad passes. Graduates must create an account in Tassel to ensure their name is pronounced and listed correctly for the commencement ceremony. 

RSVP is required for commencement attendance.
